4. Wishing for a Master Plan for a space that they can institute at their leisure as circumstances permit.
5. Live a little too far away.

kd space clients live:

Anywhere there is internet access and UPS delivery. Resources for your project will be available online or available locally.

kd space works like this:

We need to know a little bit about you and your room(s): what you like, what you hate, what the room is now and what you want it to be. How big it is and if there are windows and doors. We assume there will be….windows and doors. What are your dreams for the space. You know…the basics. We have provided a client information form to help us better acquaint ourselves with you and your space. We have also provided instructions for measuring your space(s). It would also help a lot if you could provide a few pictures that are inspirational for your space, as well as images of the space itself. If you could fill out the information and get it back to us via email with your payment (more on this below)….we can start designing.

kd space will provide:

1. A schematic Floor Plan to scale showing furniture and floor covering placement
2. Schematic Wall Elevations to scale showing window coverings, lighting and art placement
3. A Design Concept Board with images of inspirational rooms, furniture, art and accessories.
4. A complete shopping list of resources for all design elements:
   1. Furniture and fabric selections
   2. Paint and Wall Covering selections
   3. Window Covering Designs, fabrics and hardware selections
   4. Lighting selections
   5. Accessory selections or direction
   6. Art selections or direction
   7. Flooring and floor covering selections

You can expect a completed design package in about 2-4 weeks depending on the complexity of your space(s).

kd space rates and payment methods:

Different spaces require different amounts of planning and design. We have provided what we feel are average costs for spaces based on the size and scope of effort each will take:

• Hallways, Entryways, Powder Rooms: $500
• Dining Rooms, Studies/Offices, Bedrooms and Bathrooms: $750
• Kitchens, Living Rooms and Family Rooms: $1250 

When we receive payment in full, along with your Information Sheet, Room Measurements, Room Images and Links to your Inspiration Images, the design process begins.
